A Couple-A Things I Want To Share

I have two things to share with you....

First, after years of research, I have finally discovered the epicenter of wacko. It's at the Coffee Bean in Brentwood, California. This is the single location in the entire world from which all wackos emanate. More info on that later.

Secondly, Catherine and I raced the Malibu Triathlon yesterday as a relay team (with our friend Chris). As you may have heard, Malibu brings in quite the participant list, including Matthew McConaughy (or however the hell he spells his name), J-Lo, Anna Kournikova, Andy Baldwin and a whole host of others. More info on that later too.

Thirdly, (yes, I know I only said two things, but you should know me enough by now to have figured out there'd be more), somebody smashed into my car while I was sleeping. I wasn't sleeping in the car. I was in bed, the car was in the street. The car is now in the autobody shop with $3,000 worth of damage.

Yeah, that's great about your car and all but did you know that J Lo did a triathlon? A triathlon - did you know she trained for a triathlon? I don't care if your car has 1 million dollars worth of damage - J LO DID A TRIATHLON.

I rest my case :)
Hope she will now rest hers.

Wow. Thanks for sharing. Excuse me, I need to run in the opposite direction. Fast.

Based on your last few blog entries I feel compelled to ask:

When you look up, is there a dark cloud hovering over your head? Perhaps with a demonic vision leering down at you whispering "I'm gonna get you..."?

I second Tony. Life is fucking you up the ass right now, man.

But J Lo did a triathlon? Wow. I'm going to drop everything I'm currently doing and compose a congratulatory letter to her awesomeness for having done such a long, grueling, heartless race, which no one else in the world has ever done before.

Can't wait to hear the race report on this one. Did you see the pink speedo guys?

You guys took me by surprise - I suppose taking a step back it may appear that there's a black cloud over me these days but t'ain't true. To the contrary, I am lucky. Bless-ed even (you have to end that with the "-ed" as a separate word for effect). No black clouds above me. Just a bright sun and clear blue skies for as far as I can see.

Fortunately I got my convertible back today, so I can see a long long way.
